Weddings are performed at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court on a regular basis. Most are held on Friday afternoons by appointment. Please call our Wedding Hotline for more information. That number is 505-841-8104. There will be a recorded message giving you basic information, plus the names and numbers of the judges that perform weddings. The Court does not charge for weddings, but you must bring your own witnesses. They must be at least 18 years of age. You must also bring a wedding license, which you may obtain at a New Mexico county clerk’s office. To contact the Bernalillo County Clerk, call 505-468-1243. Valentine’s Day Weddings
On Valentine’s Day, Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court converts the 9th floor of the courthouse into “Wedding Central.” Our judges perform dozens of weddings on February 14, so it is a good idea to make an appointment with a judge in advance if you wish to get married that day.
