The mission of the Educational Services Division is to handle the administrative aspects of planning, development, maintenance, and evaluation of new and existing educational programs/schools and community service agencies working with the Metropolitan Court.

The Division Director is the sole full-time staff person in the Division who also directly supervises and evaluates the work of the sixteen instructors who are independent contractors under Metropolitan Court DWI (Driving While Impaired) and DI (Driver Improvement) Schools. The six other schools/educational programs are private or non-profit entities that report and process all aspects of school registration or rescheduling through the Director of Educational Services. Likewise, the non-profit community service agencies work through the Educational Services Director to ensure that they are following the established policies and procedures of the Metropolitan Court as they interface with the Customer Service and Compliance & Closeout Divisions.
