Will I be reimbursed for mileage when I drive my car to the Courthouse?

Yes, you may be reimbursed for your mileage at a rate of $.70 per mile, after the first 40 round-trip miles from your house to the courthouse.

If you would like to be reimbursed for mileage, you will need to provide a physical address when completing your online qualification information, providing the system with the information necessary to calculate the distance from your home address to the courthouse address.

NOTE: All Jurors (including those who work for governmental agencies) may request reimbursement for mileage.

*Effective January 1, 2023, jurors’ new rate of pay is $12.00 per hour.

*Effective January 1, 2026, jurors’ new mileage rate is $.70 per mile as indicated above.
