Bonds may be posted downtown at the Metropolitan Courthouse, which is located at: 401 Lomas Blvd. NW. You may go into the Customer Service Lobby and ask for In-Custody Bonding (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), or you can go to the walk-up Bonding Window located outside on the southeast corner of the building. The Bonding Window is open from 3 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. You may also work with a bonding company of your choice.
Those looking to bond someone out of custody from the Metropolitan Detention Center can visit the court’s in-custody bonding window located in the Customer Service Division during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may also post a bond at the court’s external walk-up Bonding Window, located on the south end of the building. The Bonding Window is open from 3 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
To complete a transaction, you need to bring cash to post the bond, a valid state identification card or driver’s license, and the name of the person in custody. After the bond has been posted, the clerk will process the necessary paperwork and contact the jail for release.
