The mission of the Educational Services Division is to provide is to provide high-quality educational classes by creating a supportive environment that heightens the awareness of students’ attitudes, emotions and behavior through adult-center learning.
The classes are centered on the adult learner. The facilitator builds on the learner’s experiences, problems and ideas to change behaviors/attitudes that resulted in the violation. Instruction is presented to help the learner focus on the objectives listed below:

Court Policy: Defendants are permitted ONLY one reschedule for schools and community service. Call 505-841-8151 for scheduling or if you have questions.
Schools: Only defendants complying with the order of a judge can be registered to attend one of the schools listed below.

Defendants of Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court who are ordered to perform community service hours will select from a court approved list of Non-Profit Community Services agencies.
Defendants may pay and or work community service for Court fines and fees. However, mandatory community service hours must be worked at one of the court approved agencies.
